Join us for creative workshops and a community conversation on climate and environmental justice. Learn how makers are making crafting more sustainable using creative techniques and materials. Then join us for a conversation on ways we can address climate and environmental injustice in our communities.

Listen. Lead. Share. (LLS), is a statewide grassroots campaign that includes a goal of hosting public conversations with community members and stakeholders about the best and most effective ways to address climate and environmental justice in their communities. We see intentional and authentic community listening as the first step in organizing grassroots power in support of equitable clean energy policies.
We want to hear and learn from the lived experience of Ohioans - especially that of young people!
Our evening will include:
Speed networking - meet new people!
Connect with climate, sustainability, and environmental justice experts in the region
Centering and a formal presentation on environmental justice in the state of Ohio
Small breakout discussions on climate change, clean energy & local jobs, consumer impact, and racism as a public health crisis
Share your lived experience as an Ohioan to inform equitable clean energy policies

Earth Day 2022: Community Listening Session and Forum
On Earth Day, April 22, 2022, the Promise of Democracy Foundation and Ohio Voter Fund will be partnering with the National Wildlife Federation's (NWF) Environmental Justice, Climate, and Community Revitalization Program to present a virtual Listen, Lead and Share Community Forum and listening session about the importance of Earth Day and climate justice to communities of color.
This forum will include remarks from the internationally-known environmental justice activist Dr. Mustafa Santiago Ali, NWF’s Vice President of Environmental Justice, Climate, and Community Revitalization. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
